SportyTechs uses a project-owned first-party database and does not use outbound advertising trackers.
Information we collect
The weekly briefing form stores the email address a reader submits. The Contact & Corrections form stores the submitted name when provided, email address, request type, optional SportyTechs article path, message and workflow status.
Operational hosting may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and secure the website. SportyTechs does not intentionally collect precise location, health records, payment details or advertising profiles from public readers.
Purpose, access and retention
Newsletter addresses are used only to provide the requested briefing and remain until the subscription is withdrawn or the service is closed. Newsroom messages are used to answer requests, assess corrections and document outcomes; they are reviewed for deletion when no longer needed for that purpose.
Access is limited to the publication workflow. We do not sell subscriber or newsroom-message data, and public pages make no third-party marketing calls.
Your choices
Readers can request access, correction or deletion through the first-party Contact & Corrections form by selecting Privacy request. A request should use the same email address involved so the publication can verify the relationship without collecting unnecessary identity documents.
Essential session or security technologies may be used when required for site operation. They are not used to build an advertising profile. Material changes to these practices will be reflected on this page with an updated date rather than applied silently.
